Great app! Functions with no problem! The only thing I wish is the possibility to have verses in couple languages at the same time appearing on the desktop.

So nice to be able to see the Word of God every time I open my laptop!

A great reminder of how awesome our God is. I love the verses.

ESV is now on there which is excellent. It is great to be able to refresh a new verse anytime you want and set it up so every 6 hours it changes. I only wish there was a setting to change it every hour because I am on my computer a lot for work! There is now a variety of translations which is much appreciated.

Really like the verses I receive everyday. Its a confirmation that the Lord knows exactly where I am, and What I need, and where he needs me to go. Thank you

I found Desk Top Verse by accident and so glad I did. I love having Scripture before me and It also helps with memorization. At first I was unable to change the font size so I uninstalled and reinstalled the program and that fixed the problem. Very easy to use. Thank you for this app.

The bibile verses are good, some days the message from that verse helps you though the day and or reminds you on the way to go. i just wished that the entire chapter was able to be open to be read at times.

I love it; to come back to my computer afte a meeting and read a great passage of the bible on my screensaver….JUST AMAZING

I really do like this app. It is simple to use and I love the settings that allow me to make the background around the verse totally invisible (it does not clash with my desktop background).

I have enjoyed this nicely crafted app for several weeks now. I like that I can specify where on the screen it displays and in what font and size. I particularly like the verse selections themselves. THe app worls well.

This is a good app for all who hunger and thirst for brief Scripture readings on their Mac computers. It’s a good way to get a random, yet meaningful Scripture reading, even at the start of your computer. Sometimes I notice typos in the verses, like missing parts of a verse, and partial words at times (a hypothetical example would be: "I [ca]n do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”) The parts in brackets would be the parts that would (hypothetically) be missing from a verse in some instances. An option to refresh verses more than every 12, or 24 hours, or never would be nice also (which I believe someone else also suggested in a review also). (Perhaps refresh once every 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours, or even custom?) More variety in verses would be a nice addition too, if possible; and perhaps the option to delete other versions that we may not use. Maybe another option would be have three different overlays on the screen, separate from eachother, almost like stripes on the screen; having the option to have either 3 different translations (of a single verse), or 3 different verses at a time (of a single translation perhaps). These options may be more complex to add, and I can understand that. Just suggestions. :) Overall, a good app.

I really love this product. At first I was skeptic not knowing if I could use different bible versions. I really love this product. I get to memorize a text a day (365 days in a year) or able to change it by refreshing the text. I love that it adapts to any background picture in Macbook Pro and when I leave on duty as a chaplain I have a word in my heart. I highly recommend this product to anyone who loves scriptures. I like how you can customize this app for your own personal use. It allows users to pick their own bible translation, where it appears on the screen, style-color-type-size of font, and how often you prefer a new bible verse to appear on your screen. Blessings.
