I absolutely love this app!

It’s just a great way to start the day. The first thing I see when I open my computer up is a verse. It doesn’t get in the way either. Very well designed.

Installed inintially on my iMac, then MacBook Air, now on the MacBookPro. :) Works perfectly! You can customize the verse translation, the color of the scripture text and film. Black fill box and white text or the white fill box and black text. You can also set the transparency of the fill and the width of the fill box. You can also select the update frequency : every 12 or 24 hours. Works perfect! Where I place the Scripture it on the screen, its in the same position everytime I get on the computer, I mention this becuase someone complained about this when I was reading reviews a year or so ago. Helpful hints, Tid Bits I learned while using: 1. Just be sure if you choose a big font and make the width of the box too large that you do not position the Scripture to close to the top or bottom of the screen. If you have a new verse that day or the next day with alot of words it migtht seem to fall off the screen. So don’t put it too close to the top or bottom the scriptures vary in the length by day. Its easy you can go in the preferences in the (right clicking the icon in the doc) or in the menu dock. 2. Also be sure to uncheck “keep on top of other windows” in the preferences so that you desktop folders remain above the Scripture or you won’t able to select them.

I have been waiting for an app like this seems like forever. Nothing like waking up to a new scripture every day. Love all the options you have for fonts etc. Thank you so much for this wonderful app!! I give it 5 stars!!

I love this app. I refresh multiple times a day, and the verses ALWAYS speak to me. Love it!!

You know, many people don’t have this unique quote on thier computer. It is so nice to be reminded of these verses. It’s so pretty too. So glad that you can position it where ever you would like and trasparency. Good God I love this app!

Other than not being able to position the verse location - high, low or in-between - this is truly a blessing! Being one of the 864 million "addicts" to this InterNET, i.e., snare, as His Word calls it, I constantly need reminding, especially His Truth! that is, to get off the technology and flee to Him. My days will, hopefully, be consumed with your refreshed verse doubly inspiring me to turn to Him. We are called to give Him 10% of our first fruits. That would be 2 1/2 hours a day, unlike the 1, 2, 3, or more I currently can sit down and do within the presence of the Serpent Snare. My prayer is, those of you reading this review would be likewise challenged to look within and seek His help if your self-control fruit is also getting, or is, parched. God bless! Love this app! So handy to see the verse of the day right away and best thing, you read it right away. We are all busy that even devotionals are too long to read. To me, personally, just the Word itself is enough to get me through.

Great way to learn new verses from the Bible.

Great tool for your desktop. Great improvements in the latest version. Get it!

What would make this app great is 1. The verse refresh is not as reliable as it could be. Very often I find it to be the same verse after 2-3 days 2. The ability to choose what shade you want the band and the shade of the text independently. Thank you for this app, -Ransey

I love the app, it is a fantastic idea and will hopefully help me to grow in my faith and help my journey, since I am always having stuff to do on my computer. A little sad because I don’t seem to be able to change the text, A.K.A. my computer is lagging and it’s not working(; But it isn’t all about appearance and being perfect, it’s similar to reality: Everything has a little bit of a tough side that you just have to work through and try to figure out! ;) Love it!<3
