Desktop Verse App Reviews

Its a nice app, but i cant use it, if i use my second display in my office together with the first display from my MacBook.

It is really a simple app, that showes u everday a new verse. And if u´d like to have another one, u can change it manually :)

i love this app! but i wish a new verse were to show up every time you log back on. but still i love this app!

Simple and helpful

Its great to see an app that supports the Christian Faith. Its very encouraging to wake up to a new verse everyday. Thank you for spreading the Word, and reminding people of Gods promises.

It does not seem to work with multiple desktops?

I absolutely love the idea! My only complain would be how limited it is when it comes to customization. I can change the font, but I want to be able to control font size as well? along with how transparent the back it - it simply does not go well with the backgruond that I love. It would also be nice if there was a possibility of choosing the verse you want to display. I love that it is a new verse every day, but sometimes during the day I find a verse I would like to be reminded of and it would be great if I could add it here.. unfortunately that is not an option. In any case this is a great download. Blessings!

this is one of the greatest apps. from its design to functionality it really helps you in your daily walk with God and gives you those quotes every time. thank you so much for making this app!! Love It.!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Functionality wise this app is perfect. Brilliant to have the Word of God on on my desktop. For those who want it on multiple desktop/spaces simply enable the dock icon, right click, options, and select assign to all desktops. Similarly this can be use to enable startup on login. If you want a bigger font size try changing the font to somethign like Verdana. Some features that would be nice to have would be • Ability to change Bible version • Custom Bible verse list • Simpler option to troggle transparancy, visibility on multiple desktops, font size, etc. • Cleaner and better dock and menu bar icon Thanks Marian for creating this app!

Yup.

It won’t refresh to a new verse. I can manually refresh it, but it doesn’t seem to auto-update. Still love it.

This app is really good. There’s no greater sound than God speaking. I only wish I had the opporunity to choose which verse goes up. Sometimes I come across a verse that I want to meditate on for a few days because it applies directly to my current situation (like Luke 1:45). My memory is terrible & I need to have the visual for a few days. That could be helpful for studiers of the Word, too. I REALLY hope that gets implemented into the app.

There are two things to improve this app: - I have noticed that the app seems to consume a lot of energy. - Though there is option to change the size and style of fonts, it is a total joke! It changes nothing!
